>> This screenshot shows the Create Chart dialog. Here, an existing Borland Database Engine alias will be chosen, and the "detailed" option is chosen. In some cases, it is also possible to use a folder browser to choose a database file. There is also a quick chart creation option when you are selecting numerical information from only one database table.
>> Here, an Open Table dialog is used to open a dBase table called profiles.dbf from one of the DataChart demo databases.
>> This shot shows the detailed SQL Editor which can be used to visually select only a specified set of numerical values. Options range from simple field selection (as is done here), to more complex logic involving joins with other database tables.
>> Here is a sample default chart created from the above process, with horizontal grid lines added.
>> Now, the chart spacing values have been adjusted to provide a more comprehensive view of the data.
>> The same chart has had an area zoomed in, and one particular bar was right-clicked, resulting in a bubble appearing with the record details, and the chart value of that particular bar.
>> In this last shot, the same chart has been converted to a surface contour, then scaled and rotated to provide a different perspective of the numerical data.
